I read all day. I’m
reading Fiction-Writing
Modes by Mike Klaassen. It’s
very good. It’s easy to read and he has
chapter notes at the end. I’m enjoying
it.

Preptober Prompt: Theme Song of Your Novel
When I first read the prompt, “Don’t Talk About Me,” by
Tony! Toni! Tone! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuqrZcEWO_Q)
came to mind, but it doesn’t really fit
since it’s about the girl that they just broke up talking about them.
Then, Salt -N- Peppa’s “Don’t Talk About Me” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M57a3hW4_ME) popped in my head, but that’s referring to
who their sleeping with, so it don’t really fit. This one has some curse words in it. LOL!
Missy Elliott’s “Gossip Folks” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYKI8tAELXY) could work, but I’m not too familiar with the
song. It could work because it’s about
people talking about her.
One last one came to me, “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,”
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hajBdDM2qdg) by Marvin Gaye. That’s about him hearing that his lady had
broke up with him and found another man.
So, I don’t know how any of these fit, but it’s what came to
mind. I may have to do some research on
this one.
